    I agree with your mom - I like the smaller ones better. I think it gives it more of a 3 dimensional feel than the larger ones. But not compared to each other, either way is fine - what YOU like best!

    So do I. I really like the smaller centers. The idea of mixing both -- especially if they're already made -- would be different. After all, it's YOUR quilt.

    Put them small at one end; large at the other and make it look like an optical illusion.

    I'm surprising myself, but I think I prefer the smaller center. They both are awesome and look great against the black.

    hmmmm, smaller ones do give it more depth. but the larger ones are fine too.
