My favorite sign for the door is "you are welcome in my home but you must realize one thing, I do quilt, I don't clean."

This fits me perfectly. Who has time to clean with all that sewing/quilting to be done?

mmmmmmmmmmmmm............beware of pins and needles might be more appropriate around here. Threads just aren't that scary, but a needle in the foot really hurts.

I have one on my sewing room door from my DD, it says,
"Sewing room, watch where you sit" and pictures a goose with stick pins in her you know what, done in counted cross stitch.

"Beware of Pins and Needles" might be more appropriate. Those things will jump up and bite your feet.
