Wow, I have a small quilt waiting to be quilted. I may give this a try. I think it would work great as it is all triangles. I will post picture if I get it done soon.

This would be great on small quilted items. I am not brave enough to try it on large quilts though.

I like the look of the quiting. I would try it to see how it works on a small project like a table runner.

I just did a quick sample for all of you to see what it looks like. This is with a 6.0 width needle size 100. Unfortunatel the needle was awfully coarse for the layers. But 6.0 only comes in that size. Hope you can see it. I did no adjusting to tensions. I used my Viking Topaz.

I love that. I use the double needle but not on quilts, I'll have to try that, it looks very nice.

I just showed all my students how to use a twin needle. Some of them likeed the under stitch. It's very hard to use if doing circles, could probably do gentle curves. Turning corners can be done, but takes a bit of practice. Even after showing my students I never thought about using it for wall hangings and I've just finished 4 wall hangings. I am going to try it on my next one.

I wonder if it can be used with FMQ?

So here is something I totally forgot I had. It is a circle stitcher. I have Vikings, don't know if they are available for any others. But how cool is this?!?!

There is a thumb tack that sticks from the back of the fabric into a hole in the metal "arm" you see, and it just stitches in a circle. I should have used a regular hoop without the spring thingie as it got in the way of the arm extension.
