I am really enjoying making Eleanor Burns Double Pinwheels quilt pattern. I have a young friend that is expecting twins very soon-a boy and girl. Im using pink, blue, and white fabrics. When Im done I will have one quilt that is predominantly pink and the other predominantly blue! This is a real easy peasy pattern. No triangles or HST although they become so with clever strip piecing and cutting. Ive had this book for years and when Eleanor featured this on her TV show recently, the lightbulb went on! Two quilts made at the same time!

Thanks for the reminder! I've had this book and all the fabric needed for a quilt for quite some time!
Don't forget to show pics when you're finished!

I too have had the book and fabric for over 10 years and just now getting to it except I'm using different fabric than originally planned. It is such an easy pattern that I'm sure I will someday in the near future use the fabric from 10 years ago. What a simple quilt with dramatic results. Kinda boring and repetitious but getting quick results. Spray starch helps the fabric behave.
