I too, like Dunsters idea. The yellow gives some brightness and the dark gives a "frame".

What a beautiful quilt and neat idea to use bandannas. Very nice. Like the matted border approach, narrow, slightly wider and the finish border. The yellow border really pops the yellow out of the blocks.

Hard to choose which one and I thought the same.

Navy - the yellow would be too much for me to look at everyday. (but it also looks good - just a personal preference)

I prefer the navy as well. But then I'm one who has problems using yellow. Your blocks are really cute. Is the quilt for a child? That might influence my choices and the double border adds the best of both. Joyce in DE

Narrow yellow border, wider dark border to provide a frame. froggyintexas

Love your quilt - those ducks in the centre of the circles are too cute! I like both fabrics for the border but would probably go with the darker border if it was my quilt.

The quilt is for my older sister. She was a hippy back in the day and the duck in the center circle is an in side joke. The name for this quilt is "Duck Paisley Power". I really like the yellow so I'm going with suggestions to have yellow narrow border then the navy paisley in a wider boarder. Will probably finish with red binding. I'll post photos when I'm finished.

Thanks for all the amazing suggestions.
