Has anybody made any dresses for Africa. They are pillowcase dresses. There is a place to send them on the internet. I saw it on Sewing with Nancy yesterday.

I was a member of a group at our church that made 200 of them....there is a web site littledressesforafrica.com where they sent them...we had 2 sewing days and lots of donated cases and fabric. They go together very quickly.

What a terrific idea. I checked out the website. How great are those dresses and soooo easy to size. Thank you for sharing.

I watched that episode as well. What a super idea...and didn't the young girls look so proud of their new dresses?

I thought it was a great idea. I wondering about the women as well. It would be nice to do for the women as well with fabric. I think it would be a nice thing to do for the quilting board.
