I notice a lot of you are making quilted Christmas placemats. Several years ago I purchased some at a craft fair. One side has Christmas fabric and the other side is a fall print so you use one side for TG and the other side for Christmas. I thought this was a clever idea. Could be done with a table runner also.

I do that with most of the placemats I make. Like Valentine's Day and the other side St. Patrick's. Also, the Christmas ones I make one side Christmas and the other side Winter. I have a pattern and template to make the "4 in one" placemats, just haven't had the time or motivation to do it yet.

I have been looking at making the 4 in 1's also...
I like the idea of that or reversible and being able to use them longer than one holiday :D:D:D

OH!!! I have seen this @ the LQS. I forgot all about it. Thanks for the reminder, amma. I wanted to purchase it.

This 4-in-1 placemat pattern? Do you have to purchase it? If so, is there a site on-line you can get it at?

seems the 4 in 1 placemate would be lumpy and now lay flat. I dont need any help with my glass getting offf kilter.
Anyone actually made it yet? is this truely a problem?
I always make my placemats, etc 2 seasons.

The ones I saw @ LQS were flat. You don't put any batting in them.
