    Thank you to all who replied! I am convinced I should buy a duck bill scissors. I have not seen them in any stores locally so I will probably order them over the internet. I love this board!

    I have them...the duckbill applique scissor from Ginger and you can get them at Hancock's and Joann's I believe. However I use my Kai micro tips ones and much prefer them.

    Love my Ginger duck bill scissors! I think my favorite part of applique is cutting out the shapes and these are so comfortable and very accurate. Haven't tried them for cutting threads like the others, but I wouldn't cut applique with anything else.

    I have them, but they mainly sit in a drawer. I seem to prefer trimming with a small pair of regular scissors instead.
