Last night I was sitting looking at the new Connecting Threads magazine. I normally don't look through the notion, ruler and gadget section but I was bored. :P I was reading the description for a Tri-recs ruler and I realized what it was for! Seriously, I never bothered to figure out what that ruler was for. Here I have a WIP and another quilt I'm cutting fabric for, that both have that kind of triangle square in them. I've been trying to PP the WIP triangles but I've found out I detest PP'ing. All this time there's been a ruler to cut the triangles out with! I couldn't jump online and click "buy it now" fast enough!

Wonder how many other gadgets there are that I don't know about but "need"? :D

There is a gadget for EVERYTHING! Sometimes I look at some of them and think "really"? But I guess as long as there are people that think they need it to quilt there will be someone making them or coming up with new ideas to make money off of!

I had to check it out to see what It does! I need one too! I was trying to PP these blocks for a border on a quilt, didn't know there was a ruler. Thanks :P
Now if I could find a ruler that gives me perfect square within a square, I'd be in heaven

Ha, thats funny. Im too simple to have a bunch of tools. I have one ruler that I use. I own a handful or so, but don't use them. I have a 5" lipped ruller It is as long as my mat is wide. It is all I ever use, has all the markings I need down to an 1/8" then all the angle lines.
With my mat in one hand and my ruler in the other I shall RULE THE QUILTING WORLD!!!!!!

You shall have to find another name for yourself as I have already claimed "doofus" for myself. CloverPatch, that is the same ruler I use 99% of the time. I really like the lip.

Just found a link to these:
    https://www.softexpressions.com/software/notions/ezQuilt.php]https://www.softexpressions.com/soft...ns/ezQuilt.php[/url]
I realized I already had one, and about half of what is listed on this page as well. Double Duh for me.
