My Thinking Outside the Block quilt got a second. I am a little disappointed but not surprised - they haven't sent a quilt to the CT State Fair in 5 years. I just feel like I let Chloe down. I was really hoping. Oh well - next year!

Sincere congratulations but.....you know what we're all thinking. You deserved first place. When you posted that first photo I was among the many that called ToadUSew to order the pattern based solely on the beauty of your quilt.
It's not a ribbon but you have first place thoughts from all of us here.

By the way, can you post a picture or describe the quilt that came in first? It must have really been something!

Its called Thinking Outside the Block and the pattern is available at toadusew.com. It is based on a Log Cabin pattern and is a lot of fun to make! Yvonne also made one that is just beautiful.

I think you misunderstood my question; I already have the pattern. Can you describe the quilt that came in FIRST?
