I just love your choice too. Easiest which is what you wanted too. At bottom of pick it said --found on allquilts.com.
Did you look there for the pattern ---I am going to in a bit but no time right now. Will also check out Modern Thinking that bneuen suggested.

You could always use Jenny Doan's - Missouri Star Quilting - Big Star Block, it is very elegant. Making it 4 blocks wide and 4 blocks long would do it. I have made a couple of table cloths, that are very elegant.

I'm finding tooo many!! I have auditioned the 17" squares on point w/ ivory strips between and the fabrics are all so close in color that it has no impact/interest. Decided to look at the rail patterns and found one that would use just 3 fabrics w/ a wider center strip of the ivory in the middle, medium on sides and small strips at each end...creates a kind of basket-weave effect done that way. but that will require finding 2 fabrics that can stand on their own w/ the white without getting lost and being too much color either. thinking a batik and a small print with the white on that one. I did look for fresh vanilla on allpeoplequilt.com and could not find the free pattern but now that i've seen the whole quilt, it'd be easy enough to duplicate w/out a pattern. Will be shopping for fabrics tomorrow and decided to stick with just 3-4 fabrics and make all blocks the same. I made wickedly easy as a gift for my SIL and that was fun but it was definitely not subdued..tho i know it could be. I really appreciate all the suggestions and help on this!

I think this quilt would be very elegant (and easy) in neutrals:
It's called Peaches & Dreams by Judy Laquidara. Here's the link:

I also think Bento Box would be beautiful in neutrals.
The pattern is readily available online.

G'ma Kay, I think I'll go w/ the big chevrons! now its a bit modern for me but will go so fast and be so easy to deal with. This room is kind of shabby chic/french country so the fabric choice is critical to not look toooo modern. I want to keep a shabby essence w/ the chevrons but the style of it will give the room a more youthful look too? if i do a row of scrappy chevrons and then toss in a row of eyelet and another row of straight print..as well as a solid. not so easy to make a big chevron have a romantic look but that's what i'm going for here!! Hopefully it'll be a nice mix of old and new. I'm excited now to get started and thank you all so much!
