Easy Pattern - for a charity quilt
#1
My brother in law was just diagonsised with stage 4 prostate cancer, it has progressed to his bones, we are having a benefit for him in May and I want to make a quilt or two to be raffled off.
Can you suggest an easy pattern for a quick quilt

Rail fence is easy and looks a lot more complicated than it actually is. Strip piece the sections. That is, sew the strips together before cutting them into blocks.
Log cabin is pretty easy too if you use wider strips (cut say 2-1/2" ) but can require more color planning.

I have the rail fence pattern, I just want something easy but at the same time pretty enough that people would want to bid on it and pay money for it.
Thanks for the thoughts, please pray for him, they need all the prayers they can get! We are thanking the Lord for his guiding hand thus far in the process but hopeful for continued success in this journey

I'm very sorry to hear about your brother.
The tube quilts can turn out great, as well as Warm Wishes. Both can look like they took a lot of time and work.
You might be interested in Bento Box, see this thread:

And I love this squares in squares quilt Charismah created. Her fabric choices make this simple pattern soooo elegant, and she got the block online from Quilters Cache:
