    Is this the same technique as Broken Nine Patch or Tossed nine patch? It is were you make 9 patch cut through the middle across and top to bottom and mix up the pieces and resew.

    ooooohh! These are very nice....I am waiting for instructions also... If I made them, then I could throw away some of my old potholders (some are pretty awful looking---stained but clean).
