Easy stripped table runner ruler
I want to know if it matters what 60 degree ruler you use for this pattern. I saw a 60 degree ruler at Joanns for around $15.00 and they have a 50% coupon for next week. I am wondering if this ruler will work? I love using there coupons and saving money. Thanks

60 degrees is 60 degrees- it really doesn't matter who makes the ruler.
some have different markings on them that may or may not come in handy but if you are just looking for 60 degrees you do not have to pay alot of a special (designer brand) ruler...get what you can afford- or find on sale-or have a coupon for-

The first one I made I used the 60 degree lines on my ruler. For the second one, I splurged and bought a 60 degree triangle ruler. The new ruler made it sooooo much easier. Even on the tablerunner that was more than the 8 or 9 inches that the pattern calls for. If you have a wider stripe, make sure you allow space to move the ruler down (or up) to the wide part. I love this tablerunner.
