Eight point - like an Sawtooth star? Or LeMoyne star?
Sawtooth:

LeMoyne (cheater iwth HST)

LeMoyne (diamonds)
Like, why can't I find an easy link to a classic Lemoyne?
hang on:
Here's the Inklingo templates (I think this collection is free).

Wait, I'm still trying to find the classic traditional LeMoyne (8 pointed star).
The ones I posted are really easy to make. T
The LeMoyne is made like a LoneStar...it's a much more elegant star and made with diamonds.
Finally:

Yes, there are Y-seams.
But that's what makes it such a cool looking star. ;-)
