    I'm just learning EQ7 and I'm running it on win 7 without any problems. Unless you are getting a great price you might either check out version 6 or 7. If you get 5 and really like it you can only upgrade to 6. EQ7 allows you to have it activated on two pcs; which is great for doing the lessons. I have lesson plans on one laptop and EQ7 running on the other. I got my version of 7 at quilt in a day for 135.
