A couple of weeks ago I did a pre-order for it. It was downloaded to my Nook today and I started it this evening. I always enjoy her books but I agree, some are better than others.

I'm number 63 on the waiting list at the library for The Giving Quilt. I hope it continues the story at the Elm Creek Inn.

Maybe the first few books were so good that I had unreasonably high expectations of this book. I am more than halfway through The Giving Quilt, and I am very disappointed....to the point where I have skipped pages or "fast read" through some of the pages. Please don't get me wrong. I'm still a fan of the series and will continue reading the books.

I'm reading it now and enjoying it. The author seems to go into the individual camper's history and background more than in other books. I really like the concept of Quiltsgiving and the pattern for the quilt. I may try to draw it out from the description.

I'm third on the list at our library. Looking forward to it.

    Cheers, K
