Sharon Schamber highly recommends it and uses it a lot. Check out her videos on appliqué and on machine embroidery.

I have had instances where the purple did not turn clear , but it did wash out.

I buy the Elmer's purple glue sticks but my DGD has found where I keep them and she uses them up before I even get a chance to. Guess I'd better find a better hiding place!!!
