Default Elmer's glue stick or liquid

So I love using the washable elmer's glue and I use the glue stick for my applique and bias tape but I use the liquid for my binding. I am starting a new quilt and I will be doing extensive piecing for it where I want to make sure everything matches up perfect and I'm thinking I am going to use glue instead of pins.

Would you use the liquid or the glue stick? What are the pros and cons to each.

I keep on going back and forth as to what would be better. You don't need an iron for the glue stick and it stays put just as well...but I might be able to be a little more accurate with the liquid.

    Opinions please.

    Thanks,
    Yael

Whatever works best for YOU. Some swear by liquid and others swear by stick.
I've never tried matching seams with glue. I use pins...just personal preference.
I think glue sticks would be less messy when you are piecing but it's really up to
you. As we say...there is no rule.

I am much more exact using liquid. Maybe do a couple of sample blocks -- one each way and see which turns out the best.

I really think I would try it out both ways also and see which is going to be more accurate for you.
