Elmer's has the tubes of liquid school glue with the skinny tip on one end and wider tip at the other end. And it is refillable. I got three tubes in one package at the Dollar Tree. It was by the register.

You can buy a package of these https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B0...?ie=UTF8&psc=1

with metal needle nose tips. You don't even have to pour glue in bottles. The cap will fit a average size Elmers glue bottle.

I also use Elmers school glue to fold over my binding, and use the small red /purple clips to hold the binding in place overnight. Remove the clips in the morning and the back is ready to stitch down without moving the fabric out of line. I do one side at a time, using my island in the kitchen to hold the quilt overnight, when no one would be working on it anyways.
