I am working on a wall hanging and want to add some beading or something. I have never done this on a quilt before; can anyone direct me to some web sites, videos, or blogs, that might have some good ideas or tips. Or maybe someone can suggest a good book that might help.

Excellent question! I am also a needlepointer, so I would typically stitch something on, but would love a reliable heat appliqué method....I have googled heat appliqué, but haven't decide what to buy.....

is a good reference site---lots of help/tips/inspiration for embellishing your projects- they 'specialize' in crazy quilting- but show lots of embellishment techniques

Haven't done beading yet, but embellishing is very fun, took a class and had a blast
