Embroidered label??

That's a good thought to prewash the fabric so the label is ok. Unfortunately the ones I want to put labels on now weren't pre washed.....ughhh.....I do prewash batiks, but that's not what I'm labeling now.

If you mean the small label pieces, you could do a quick warm water soak, few minutes in the dryer, then iron the fabrics. That would shrink them up.

Oh that's a good idea! I'll wash those by hand and hope things work out.
How much of the stabilizer should I try to cut out? What I'm using now isn't wash away or tear away. Do I have to get in between the lines of text? How about in between letters?
Sorry for so many questions but I don't want a label to trash the rest of my work.
