I use white Superior Bottom Line thread in the bobbin. It is very fine so isn't as noticeable as when using colored thread.

sewnsewer2, I love your things. The burp clothes are really cute. I bought an embroidery machine a few months ago, but have not done much with it. This gives me some great ideas.
    Thanks Ladies!

I've mostly done pillows, shirts, FSL, that kind of thing, but then I did this for my DH and I. It overhangs our Queen bed.. and now I don't even have it on there. I got bored with it!

What is the best type of stablizer to use to do shirts? I am doing my husbands work shirts (pullover polo style) and also want to do some shirts to wear at fall craft fairs. Any suggestions would be great. I think I need to get a book that explains the basics.

I have a Bernina Artista 730, my dream machine! When I bought it they were doing the 75th anniversary, so lots of free goodies came with it, including more embroidery designs than I could use in a lifetime (didn't stop me from buying more :-D )!
So far I have made lots of embroidered tees for hubby, homemade custom welding caps (again for hubby)...okay, I am slowly realizing that DH keeps me so busy with his stuff I haven't made much of anything else!
