    I agree with this. I would also suggest you use bobbin thread in your bobbin that is a very fine poly. Sounds like yor current bobbin thread may be a little to heavy. Emily

    I use bobbin fill in my bobbins as the thread is not heavy and it matches the weight of the top. Maybe the thicknesses are not the same that will make the bobbin thread show.

    I would also use same thread in bobbin, if not the same color than the same kind. I would not use 2 different kinds of thread, that makes a difference. I would also not change the tension on your machine, I have a Designer SE (Viking) and the machine auto sets the tension for embroidery. I think the biggest thing is that you are useing 2 different kinds of thread.

    Try cleaning out the bobbin area to make sure there are no stray threads or lint in there.
