Embroidery quilt blocks question.
Hi all: I am wanting to embroidery some blocks to use in a quilt and wonder what stabilizer is best for this process. It seems an iron-on might be best, but I don't really know. Thanks for any info. Bonnie

It depends - are you machine embroidering or hand embroidering. If hand embroidering, then no stabilizer should be necessary. For machine embroidery, you usually attach with a temporary spray adhesive - a tear-away stabilizer. Others may have other comments on machine embroidery.

You still haven't said if these will be hand or machine embroidered, first thing is to cut background larger as embroidery "draws in" the fabric so trim after. If hand I always back with flannel so you can't see thread running behind piece, if machine a tearaway or mesh will work just fine.
