I use Catalog It. I have all my embroidery files in folders. When I buy a design, I name it and put it in a file (if it's a bird design, I put it in my file that says birds). However, I can't view the design. Catalog it allows me to set up categories, transfer the designs into the category, view the design, I use Isacord thread and it allows me to view the Isacord threads needed, tells me how long the sew out is and how many stitches it uses. It's simple and I'm totally into simple.

If it's a really dense design that requires a lot of color changes, I usually view the design and thread colors and copy that onto a word document and print it out and put it in a binder for future reference.
