I have finally finished my one and only EPP. It was a free design from cddeisngs.com but I sent for the paper pieces. Tiring on the hand and tennis elbow, even with gloves.

It's lovely, but I'm not surprised the EPP didn't grab you as a method. Get Ruth McDowell's Piecing Workshop, that'll teach you a much more flexible method using freezer paper. It's designed for complex piecing, but I've also used it very successfully on simpler piecing such as the quilt you just made. You don't end up sewing through paper with the McDowell method, you'll be relieved to hear.

Wonderful job! I just love the fabrics you choose. I am so glad you enjoyed the workshop.
I love the hexagon, but there is so much more you can do with EPP (English Paper Piecing) than the GMFG.
Do you mind if I save your picture for when I put up a gallery for the Southwestern project?

PS. I am the one that gave the workshop. 8o)
