The “All in One Quilter’s Reference Tool” by Harriet Hargrave (available on Kindle) has wonderful charts and diagrams to figure this sort of thing out, including the dreaded conversion for triangles. I swear by it.

I scrolled all the way down and there were directions for an 13" unfinished block which would be 12 1/2" finished.
