EQ at Quilt Shows
#13
Once the newest version comes out, it is hard to find "good" sale prices. EQ really limits thier vendors on offering specials.
My suggestion is to pick up a used copy of EQ5 first, if you are unsure of the program, or spending the money for EQ7. You can download this version unlimited times (EQ6 has limitations.)
I have seen EQ5 on ebay for $30, and it has more options than some of the more inexpensive new programs, like quilt wizard.

Since I don't get out to any big shows that would feature EQ, I had my LQS order the EQ software for me. If I remember right, I didn't have to pay the shipping, because they were ordering multiples for the shop. They do the same thing with books. The only time I've ever had to pay shipping was when they special ordered a pattern for me that was not through one of their regular distributors. I don't use credit cards, so some on-line ordering doesn't fly for me. The LQS came to my rescue.
