    RE: EQ5

How do I set a block that I have drawn on a quilt layout all at the same time? I seem to be getting them a little "off" by setting them one at a time using ctrl & V.

    Thanks.

I'm not sure I understand your question. Do you want to set the same block in multiple places in layer one?

I don't use the control v, I just use the block set tool on the right hand side in layer 1. Once you select your block in your sketch book, you just use the mouse and left click the layout block you want to set your block in. If you hold down the control key and left click, it will set the block in all the layout squares in layer one.

    Thank you.
Yes, that is what I mean't Cordelia. Sometimes I have to place them in layer 2 because it won't let me in layer 1 if I drew the block.

Do I need to color it 1st to set it in layer 1?

No, you don't have to color it first, but it's easier to color the block first than to set it and then color it in the quilt table.

Cordelia, when I do it that way, I have to draw a box (copy & paste). Is there a way I don't have to keep drawing the box to set the block?
