Chris all of my tutorials also have 7 in them. I show each lesson for all 3 versions. If you want a section just for EQ7 users that can be set up. I don't have just 7 in the lessons but there are tutorials in the 7 software.

Great, I'll check out the lessons. Just thought it might be less confusing. Thanks for the help!

I prefer my EQ5 but in the lessons I show screenshots of how to do things and where any of the versions differ I show screenshots to show you the other 2 versions.

I did start using my 7 more lately because my 5 was acting up. I kept losing files in 5. I know it is old and has issues because the newer technology doens't support it

I had EQ 5 but when I recently bought a mac found I couldn't use it. Now I'm waiting for the release of the EQ 7 for Mac which I was told will be May 1st. I'm wondering if you think it might be wise to wait a bit to see if it has some bugs that need to be addressed.

Personally I can never stand to wait. I'd probably run right out and buy it LOL but you have a point on the bugs. Also if you wait awhile the price might come down later on. It just depends more on how much you'd use it and if you want or need it to use now.

Did anyone notice that Electric Quilt is NOT allowing people who have EQ5 to download the free fabrics anymore?? Really disappointed since I downloaded the January reds. When I attempted to download the Feb and Mar fabric, the program removed Jan reds and left me with nothing.

I have EQ5 but i am not very good at using it yet.

Does anyone else have to import their fabrics every time they start a new project? I hoped i would import my fabrics and they would be stored somewhere so i can have them all available each time i wanted to play with patterns. Instead i keep a folder of the images and have to import them over and over.

I have owned EQ since 4, and I don't want to go back there. I upgraded mainly because of the cost savings, and am I ever glad I did. I hardly used 4, 5 or 6. I use 7 much more than any other version that I have owned. They each have a learning curve, that's for sure.

Isn't it great that we can pick and choose which one we want to use?

Do you get the emails from EQ? I may be wrong, but I think that upgrade or whatever they are calling it for Mac was just released, or is coming really soon.
