OK folks....we are breaking tradition here tonight also and opening our presents soon. (1st time ever, with no kids in the house Christmas Eve or morning:cry: ). The festivities will start with brunch tomorrow morning here in PA and end up with supper in Greece, NY.

Anyway, I think hubby got me EQ6....so I may be back for some help.

    Merry Christmas!

nursie--Greece isn't far from me--about an hour+. Is this a lull before grandkids? Will you see your kids at some time? Remember--it's not the 25th that's important--it's the love. ;) I'm sure we'll have to show lots of flexibility in years to come...

You are sooo right, flexibility is the key to sanity and peace.

Actually the reason everything is out of whack is our youngest DD and her hubby have moved to New Zealand for 2-1/2 yrs for her to do post grad work at the Univ of Auckland. Even after they were married, she and her hubby always came up on Christmas eve and stayed, getting up in the morning to carry on the tradition of dragging dad out of bed as he is protesting that it is too early (actually he was usually awake waiting for them). We all had dinner here with other DD and then DS would come from Rochester that evening or the next day and we would all meet at youngests house for supper as my son has developed cat allergies and we have 3.

Anyway, we will make this work, AND we have opened presents...and I not only have EQ6, hubby also got me a Netbook to use with my embroidery module and designs. I really am lucky!

Neat to hear you are near Rochester (Greece), NY. Maybe we can meet sometime when we are visiting our DS.

Take care, and learn EQ6 real good.... I may need some guidance in the future

    Merry Christmas!

Oh, do have one DGS he is 10. Get to see him tomorrow for brunch!

Okay--since you were all so helpful and encouraging, I wanted to show you how I'm learning! :-D

Here are a few I've done so far--nothing fancy, but I'm having a very good time! I even had to skip way ahead to learn how to share them with you.

The color stuff is my favorite function so far! How wonderful to know ahead of time just how something will look!!

Oh gosh--they came out big. I saved them under the lowest setting for websites/email! Eeek. Sorry, admin!
