Would there be a way to transfer a quilt pattern, say the BQ pattern into EQ6 to play around making it bigger and plugging in my own material? Would I just redraw the individual blocks and then scan my own material?

BQ is a quilt pattern, I think it stands for big quilt. You can see the pattern on this site:

I want to do it in oriental fabrics and need to visualize it.
I have EQ6, but have only gotten through the first 2 lessons so far since Christmas.

http://www.byannie.com/shop/category...-and-software/
I purchased mine from this website at 20% off, her books are also 20% off.
I received it 2 days after ordering, fast service. She will also accept paypal if that makes a difference to anyone.
Great customer service.

Patterns can be purchased to work in conjunction with EQ5, Dear Jane (a stand alone product), and EQ 6...I just bought Farmer's Wife and also received Dear Hannah as a gift. They work with the software I already have. I'm sure other versions, too but these are the ones I'm most familiar with.
It is filled with ready to use patterns if you go under the library. As you add compatible patterns, they pop up as well. You can easily change block sizes once you choose a block.
However, a pattern that has been designed by someone else that does not offer an EQ compatible CD is probably copyright protected.
