    What drove me completely nuts last night was that for some reason I figured that a split rectangle would piece together like a half-square triangle. :oops:

    Now I've got 32 tiny rectangles with two seams in them that need to be ripped out, or I need to figure out what the heck else I can do with all those things. Luckily I have enough fabric to recut the strips, which I did, but then I didn't cut all the light pieces in the proper orientation for the left-side blocks. :hunf:

    I did manage to get ONE "side" block done last night...

    Will I get this monstrosity finished by Sunday night? Anyone taking bets?

    It is funny how your mind can make you believe something is right and when you do it, it turns out wrong. Looks like you have it figured out now and I bet you do get it finished.
