    I had that to happen to me a few times and it did wash out ..I
    did learn something about the starch though in this thread as I didn't
    know that it would draw the silverfish and other pest , I'm thankful I read this , I learn so much here..Thank's everyone

    This has happened to me. I think I over ironed the starch--but it washed out so no problems. I was told ages ago, that you never starch and store because the starch is basically a sugar base and can attract "unwanted guests". I wash and dry when I get the fabric, fold and store, then starch just before I use.

    seems like a good rule of thumb...now :roll:
    but, I'd rather know, before I starched and stored...oh? maybe 300+ yards :shock: ...I'm guessing.
    It's probably more like 400 :lol:
