I found a 403A on CL this past week. Went and looked at it yesterday. It came in a cabinet with 4 drawers that folds out to a big table. It also has a tread holder that sits in the back of the cabinet. It needs some work but I got it for 40.00. I've got it apart right now cleaning it. I'm going to take it in for a servicing tomorrow. I learned to sew on a 403a. My grandmother and mother both own one and love them. I'm so excited too add it to my collection. I think I'm driving dh nuts though I h ave 6 machines now.

GREAT machine....we used them in Home Ec classes way back in the 70's. They took a lot of abuse from the students but ran like a charm.

Looks like a real nice and clean machine to me. Can't wait to see it all done and in the cabinet..
