I was wondering if you have to have an extension for your sewing machine to quilt. I have a regular sewing machine, but it doesn't fit into my cabinet, so does not lay flat. I hope I have explained this enough for some of the great people on here to advise me.
    Thank-you (twixbar)

The extension tray does help while quilting. Other than that I never use it.

Thank-you all so much, I will try the u-tube method, see if I can cut it out around my machine, not too good with an exacto kinfe. lol. I priced extension tables they are around $100 plus shipping ($35.00) Again thank-you

I made the Marguerite McManus table extension with the vinyl
cover & love it. It works very well & inexpensive. Was very easy to cut.

acrylic extension tables, that fit around your machine to make a larger flat surface to work on.
