Buckeye Rose

I have a brother cs6000i and while I love what I can do with the machine, I am having issues with the extension table. It comes with the machine and is about 10" deep and adds another 5" to the end of the machine on the left. It has 2 folding legs on the end corners and I just can't seem to keep them extended when I am sewing anything with bulk. If I have to put any pressure on the fabric, like when I am FMQ, the legs will fold under and then the table tilts requiring me to stop and fix. I am getting quite annoyed and other than buying a sewing table where I can insert sewing machine into the opening, I am clueless as how to fix. Suggestions from any cs6000i owners?

Can you put something under it to help hold it up? Books, boxes, whatever will fit?

or have someone cut you a couple of pieces of wood the correct height, then screw/nail them into a "T" configuration so they don't tip.

I have the same machine..I just cut some of the rubbermaid stuff for cabinets and put it on there. It has worked for me so far.

I have a Baby Lock ext. table, on two of the legs I put bobbins to get it from wobbling.

The legs are suppose to lock down. When you open them up all the way, push hard on them and you will hear a click. That should lock them down.
