Ok, I though I would show you all my "gizmo" Cheap, easy to replace blade, works great.

Basically, picked up a wood heart from Michaels, drilled a hole to fit cheap standard seam ripper and then painted it. When the ripper gets dull, just replace. It comes apart for easy storage.

I do use the cutter on my machine for the end of my chain but I don't want to dull it by cutting everything.

That is dangerous looking. I know me and I'd jab my hand in no time. The Gizmo blade is not exposed.

I LOVE my Gizmo! I keep it beside my machine, near my iron and just happily (and safely) use it all the time!
