Did any of you all make the spring sampler blocks in the recent fab shop hops? I hate things on point, but I'm not sure there would be another way to make it.

This month they have this blue and white Nifty 9 Patch or something like that. How many of you intend to make them? I think these are even prettier than the spring blocks. I don't really like blue and white, but it's so pretty together in this quilt.

    What do you guys think?

I have only made one of the spring blocks so far. It was a struggle to put it together, so I haven't tried another yet. The new blue and white one looks nice, so I think I will try to find all the block patterns. Course, blue is my favorite color.

I haven't seen the current ones yet but I have no plans to make the spring blocks. I don't do complicated.

They do look really hard. I'm not really a beginner anymore, after 8 years, but I'm definitely not intermediate either...maybe advanced beginner? I'm going to be taking the instructions to a couple friends of mine to see if we can decipher the hard parts.

I like these much better than the spring group. I didn't even print most of the spring blocks.

I'm almost positive I didn't find all of the spring blocks before but was able to get the last one on my member page after the hop was finished.

The September one is called Aunt Dinah and I'm going to try it. I was thinking of making multiply blocks in the one pattern for a quilt for my Mom.

The Aunt Dinah one is so pretty. I haven't considered making anything on point before. That was one of the many reasons I didn't make the spring one. This one is so pretty!

Have just been printing out the pattersn. Haven't tried to make any yet. I do like the quilt they show, and may try it in a blue and white sampler.
