Thanks for the youtube link. Love it but don't know if I really want DH watching it. I did an amazing thing last week--I made two baby quilts totally from my stash!! Since I live in the boonies and the nearest (crappy) fabric store is 10 miles away, the nearest (decent) fabric stores are 25 and 40 miles away, I feel that online shopping really is easier. Unfortunately (OR NOT!!) I have a DH that works in the US and is happy (well, resigned) to be my orderer and my fabric Mule. He hauled about $75 worth of fabric home last week and then watched me ogle and fondle it all for an hour. But I have NEVER complained about the woodworking tools or wood that he buys. I think he understands me.

A friend came into my sewing room the other day, and after looking around asked me if I sell fabric. NOOOOOO, I replied this is all mine, I am not greedy, I'm just materialistic.

My moratorium on buying didn't last long-have probably bought 60-80 yards (mostly in 1-2 yard cuts) since the beginning of December when I started making purses. Now, I am hooked on making them and can't stop buying fabric! It was easier when trying to visualize quilts, but every fabric I see now, I see a purse/bag in it!! Looks like I am going to have a de-stash sale soon!
Please post photos of your purses. I love to see what everyone else is making.

It's just so exciting to find another design we like, and kind of boring completing an old project, even tho it is very satisfying to finish something. I've been trying to restrain myself from starting that chair cover we saw last week, but I keep searching for fabric I'd love for it. Can't help myself. We are weak!

My DH bought me a small trailer to have in the backyard for all my material. I can't hardly get in it. Does anyone go to Marshalls Drygoods in Batesville, AR. It's several hours away and when I get to go I buy plenty.
