I made the mistake of adding up my fabric receipts from LQS only for this past year - not JoAnne's, etc. What a shock! But I love all the fabric I purchased and will enjoy sewing my planned projects, but it sure does sneak up on ya! Looking forward to a quilt show in The Villages FL this weekend. NO quilts on display this year, but lots of vendors - demos, etc.

I was given a pin once that reads:
    I have a weakness
    I must confess it
    I buy fabric
    Just to possess it!

    that's my story.

Believe me you are not alone I am right there with you. I love fabric and I buy so much that I do not know what I am going to do with it. That is why it is pushing me out of my sewing room.

Are you kidding? I swore I wouldn't buy fabric this month. I spent money on fabric the other day here in town, I have two orders coming from different mail order company's. I do believe it is an addiction.

Me too. But that's easy, my favorite LQS is closed on Mondays.

I've been on a program to loose weight but I think for every pound I loose, I buy a pound or more of fabric!! I really enjoy getting fabric and then when I get home I put fabric together for projects to do. My "to do" bins are getting a bit much but oh well. My rational is buying the fabric now will save me money when (if) I retire....
