    Also the flame retardent sleepwear and such is being studied in the causes of Autisim. It's very toxic! Good ol' cotton is the way to go!!!

    I worked with High Risk parents and children Please follow the SIDS institute guidelines as far as your baby sleeping with blankets, I have lost to many babies in my line of work and most of it is suffocation because of blankets and bumper pads.

    Thank you for all the good info - makes perfect sense. The top and back of the quilt is also cotton. Just bought a pair of pj's for the little guy and they are in the long john style (form fitting). A lady at a local fabric said the same as you about cotton - and her husband is a fire fighter so safety is an item talked about too.

    So I feel much better about all cotton now. Thank you.
