Fabric box
Help...I've misplaced my pattern for cute little fabric boxes that I made last year. I'm sure that I saw it on QB. It consisted of 2 squares of fabric with batting in the middle, sewn RST & flipped RSO, top stitched, & quilted. Then you folded it in half & sewed a triangle (or dart) on each side, refolded it in half the other way & did the same. You turned this inside out & it made a box. Then you turned down the corners & sewed on a button. Does anyone have the pattern for these? I can't remember the formula for the side darts & I'd like to make a few by Wednesday for a church craft sale. Thanks.

That's the one I'm looking for. I've got my fabric quilted & was waiting to see how I was to make my corner triangles. Thank you, you made my day!
Is it this one by Seaside Stitches?

I've never made French seams, but I'll use them on my boxes this time. I like the finished look they give. Thanks for the link. You are such a help to me. When I put 'fabric box' in my QB search last night, I couldn't find any of this information. Any hints on how to find these things without bugging all of you?

I wonder the same thing. I never seem to be able to find things and I use "advanced search". If someone can answer this it would be appreciated....: )
