Wow I would buy that in a heartbeat, and I am just getting started...I will need to go back to work soon, just to pay for my quilting habits...LOL

You said the only drawback is DH's "you have too much stash" comment. So if money is not an object, I'd go for it!!! Sell what you don't like and keep the rest! :) (And you said you could possibly get it for less? I'd sure buy it!)

    :)

Present the idea of turning a profit to DH and maybe he will agree. I'm sure you could sell most of it here.

I would go for it. What with increasing prices you cannot lose.

Presented as a potential income producer he will likely agree wholeheartedly!

Not easy decision, I would consider further discussions with hubby and compromise. Could you buy half the load?

OK ROFL - I am not one to discuss much with hubby. We are their mates , they are not our bosses. Then again, if he works and you don't ok. If you both work, not. And if you are both retired, not. Don't get me started. I do a lot for my DH but asking him if I can buy something is not one of those things.
AS far as the fabric...YOu can make money and have a good stash also. Sounds like a win-win situation. Whatever you decide, have fun.

I think it's spending that amount ALL AT ONCE that makes one stop and think.

2000 divided by 12 is $166.67 - which doesn't sound all that bad if one made monthly payments on it.

sounds like a good deal, but if the fabric is over 7 years old, will it still be good for quilts? Or will it 'wear out' soon.?
I would offer her alot less..
