Any advice will be appreciated.
When my husband is trying to convince me to let him buy another classic car (he already has 6!!) he gives me this speech.... "I can resell it and make money." Of course once he gets the car he keeps it, but maybe you could use that arguement on your husband re: the fabric... LOL GOOD LUCK - sure wish I had an opportunity like that - what a bargain you are getting!

if she's willing to sell you only what you want at a good price, then why make life difficult? get what you like and can afford now, and forget about the rest.

hope your knee heals well and you have a good trip.

Buy it, put in the truck of your car or store it at your friends houses, or at work, or at the neighbors, sneak it in bit by bit at night when DH is asleep, or when he isn't at home. Hide it in an obvious place where he would never look (under your bed, under your kid's beds), in the kitchen cabinets. Slowly put it in your sewing room and tell him "oh that, i've had that for years", start sewing as if you were possessed and keep a look out for guilds that are begging for material for charity projects they are doing and share.

I hope it's still good after 7 years. I have some in my stash that old.

If you don't want it, call me. I'll drive to TN to get it. All kidding aside, if the fabric is not shop worn, could be a great buy. However, is the good buy worth problems with DH? Of course, we all would love to have a chance like that, but we are not in your shoes.

    Let us know what happens.

What a deal! If you were inclined, you could sell enough of it to get your money back. We keep hearing about - and seeing - prices going up.

I would buy it and cut a piece from each bolt, 2-4 yards plus a fat quarter. Larger pieces of the ones you like best. Then sell the rest on e-bay. That would cover your cost and then some.
