I have a chance to buy out a lady who once owned a shop and closed it about 7 years ago. She moved the fabric to her house. She has 200 bolts (7-14 yds on them) and 200 pieces of cut fabric. Brands are Kaufman, South Seas, Benartex, etc. She is asking $2000 for all but think I can make an offer. Only drawback is hubby who doesn't think I need anymore fabric. Any advice will be appreciated.

I'm sure you can unload a lot of it here and get your money back and not have all that fabric to bug him.

just remind said hubby of how much fabric is going up. Would he rather you pay a buck a yard or 14-15. At $15 a yard, that would be $30K. That is like a huge IRA and it would be tax free

We can tell you to buy it, but we don't have to love with DH  How opposed to this is he ?

Is the fabric in good condition ? Colors and styles of fabric ?
