Fabric Buying in Arkansas/Missouri
Okay---so I know about Marshall's Dry Goods, but I swear I read back in March or so on this board of another place that was either in MO or ARK. And, again, if I remember correctly, it wasn't too far from Branson, MO.
Anybody know where this is and what I'm talking about?--I remember something like it was a mom/pop store with really good prices---maybe buying of discontinued fabrics?
Like I said, I think it was in MO or ARK, but could have also been KY or TN as I was thinking about when I go to Paducah for the Quilt Show in April of making a road trip and stopping at Marshall's and any other place along the way that has excellent prices.
I thought sure I had bookmarked the post, but cannot find it for the life of me. Please help if you can.
Thanks in advance.

At Marshall's you can buy the bolt for the same price the shops pays. You just have to get one of the reps to do your ticket. No tax ID needed. If you want yardage you buy from the bolts that are open at the front or the flat fold tables. Flat folds you buy what is in a fold usually three to five yards, no cutting of the flat folds. Don't forget to check the wide backing fabric. Many times there will be in house specials. It will take a good half day to see everything at Marshall's.

I'm pretty sure this is the one I was thinking about. Thanks. If anyone knows of any others in the area other than Marshall's or Thayer, let me know.

Might have been the Ben Franklin in Mt. Vernon--I'll see if I can find the post.
