I don't like dark colors, and this xmas I made a quilt for a friend who's favorite colors are brown, grey and black lol. It came out nice but not my colors at all.

I like all colors but I like them bright and vivid not drab and dull.

Orange would be my least used color. While sorting my stash I remarked that I had a lot green fabric and that it was not my favorite color. My son remarked that that was the reason I had so much green fabric ( I am not using it).

I like black and navy blue in quilts but do not like sewing them...really hard on my eyes.

I'm not really fond of pink. I love all of the other colors and use a mix of them mostly in my bright quilts, but pink I rarely use. Having said that, I just started a pink table runner for Valentines Day, lol, probably the only time I'll use them. I do not keep but only a bit in my stash.

Have to say I've been avoiding pinks and orange. I love peach, but not bright oranges, lime greens or yellow greens. I'm very fussy about my green shades.

I like all colors, but greens are my favorites. I tend to work with darker colors, not brights. And, I never work with white. Even just off-white. I use usually more of a tan, and love going scrappy with those. I use tone on tones, not solids. Much more interest that way in the quilt.

Muted or muddy colors. For example, you'll never see me buying Thimbleberries.
