KiwiQuilter I think all you will have to do is post a new topic on the 1st of every month. Just make sure everyone knows the name of the topic.
    Mirabelle - great idea.

I was thinking about this over the last few hours and I came to a very similar conclusion. So... the 1st of January I'll pop up a post. We can discuss our progress, motivate each other, talk about our oopsies, and show photos of what progress we have made.

What does everyone think? Sound like it will work?
That's the best way I think, maybe you'll need to include the word Moratorium in the title so we know to respond.

I might be able to do this since one of the reason that you can buy is that nothing else in your stash works. That always seems to be the case with at least one fabric for a pattern. Of course after you buy that one fabric then others probably will not quite match so you need to by another and so it goes!!!!!!!!

This is good...I am committed for the next year. I wonder how many stash projects I can get done...

Good luck to you but count me out!!! I couldn't go one month and no matter what I spend on fabric etc., it still has to be cheaper than the therapy I'd need without it!!!

Yep! I could join. I already have three large cupboards full of fabric, plus plain fabrics stored in a large closet. I can do without much of anything for quite some time. I also just got 10,000 yards of thread, plus what I already have so am good there. I might need batting but now for quite a while and that's permissible, I guess.

I found a cute Mary Englebreit journal at Michael's awhile back on super sale to write in the projects as I complete them. The front cover has a picture of "the Queen Bee", which I hope to become, as busy as a bee!! Lots of WIP's and projects to complete. Looking forward to all of our accomplishments for the next year!! I'm taking it one day at a time!!
